Description: This is an original vintage 1972-73 Topps Basketball card near complete set with 231 out of 264 cards. it features some of the biggest names in basketball, including Phil Jackson, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, John Havlicek, Oscar Robertson, Rick Barry, Bob Lanier, Bill Bradley, Pat Riley, Dan Issel, Spencer Haywood, Jerry Lucas, Sydney Wicks RC, Wes Unseld, Nate Thurmond, Connie Hawkins, Calvin Murphy, Gail Goodrich, Hal Greer, Earl Monroe, Len Wilkens, Don Nelson, Walt Bellamy, Rudy Tomjanovich, Bob Love, Billy Cunningham, and so much more. Also included are both checklists unmarked, many All-stars & League Leader cards including several with Jabbar & Chamberlain. There is also a Julius Erving RC All-Star and league leader card. This set does not include the Julius Erving base card RC #195. However most of the stars are in this partial set. The missing numbers are 3/5/6/11/18/35/47/48/74/75/90/105/115/117/129/150/163/180/183/185/187/190/195/200/205/209/210/231/234/239/243/250. Notable missing players are Pete Maravich, Dave Cowens, Dave Bing, Jerry West, Austin Carr RC, Dave DeBusschere, Nate Archibald, Willis Reed, Elvin Hayes, Kareem Abdul Jabbar All-Star, Artis Gilmore RC, George McGinnis RC, Julius Erving base RC, & Rick Berry All-Star. I know that sounds like a lot but the rest of the missing cards are commons and aside from the Erving the rest of these players can be picked up for a couple hundred bucks. These cards are in great shape with the average condition being excellent-near mint. Some will be lesser and some will be better. There are no creases or severe corner wear. Most of the corners are sharp or just have extremely minor imperfections. No cards have writing, rips, scratches, or other alterations. This is a pretty clean set including most of the rookie and stars. Please let me know if you need more pictures or have any questions.
