Description: The above noted guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Custom, twentieth anniversary edition guitar in cherry burst finish. The serial number indicates that it would be either manufactured in 1974 or 1975, and the twentieth anniversary inlay also would confirm this as the first Gibson Les Paul Custom was made in late 1953, and is considered to be a 1954 official year release. This is one of the first "reissue" style instruments that was made by the Gibson company. Under a black light the guitar shows that it has not been refinished. It has a pancake (3 piece) body, gold hardware, volute, witch hat knobs, ABR-1 bridge, ebony fretboard, 3-piece mahogany neck thin binding in the cutaway, 6 digit serial number, w humbucking PAF style pickups, and "Made in USA" stamp on the back of the headstock. The neck has been broken, but the repair is holding well. The guitar has heavy players wear, but all components appear to be original, minus the volume and tone knobs. This instrument also has a signature from Slash from Guns and Roses on the body.
