Description: Original 50 year old halloween costume for size 'large' children 53" to 58" tall, however tends to the shorter size.This unit was worn 50 years ago, and then folded an put away. The mask is in good condition, however the rubber band that holds the mask on the head needs to be replaced. The uniform slips over the legs and then ties behind the neck. Not a great design, but at the time I think it was designed to be removed quickly or to break away if it got caught in something. The right side arm pocket has been torn and was repaired with tape. The left side is intact. This costume appears to be designed for a 1x use and then disposal - it cost $3.19 in 1974. Sold for collectors and afficanados of the film series. I think if you put your child in this suit, it might not survive a whole evening trick or treating in the neighborhood. Buyer should understand this before purchasing. Box is original. The clear film on the front of the box is split, as show in the photos. The box is in overall good shape. There is the name of the original owner (me) on the box and where the 1st and last name was written, it has been covered over with black sharpie.
