Description: This is for a custom 1979 PITTSBURGH PIRATES team card done in the style of the 1980 Topps cards! Please see the pictures of the actual item you will receive! After 1972, Topps did not make team photo cards with a "WORLD CHAMPIONS" designation for the previous year's World Series winners, presumably because they began printing the cards prior to the completion of the Series. I always kind of liked those cards, so to rectify this omission, I have created my own 1980 Pittsburgh Pirates team card, as I envision what they would have looked like had Topps made them.DISCLAIMER: Now, first off, I am NOT a professional card maker or company. I am a Pirates fan that creates these cards simply for fun. Cards are cut on a large paper cutter so the edges are straight and sharp. They measure approximately standard card size of 2-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches, and will fit in storage pages or sleeves/holders very nicely. The thickness is similar to a regular 1980 Topps card, and the cards have a matte finish.
