It features artwork by the legendary Jim Aparo. Aparo was a true legend spanning decades in comics, and is known for his classic work at DC and Charlton on Batman, Brave and the Bold, Detective Comics, Aquaman, Adventure, The Spectre, and more, and this is certainly one of his more memorable images. This is a truly classic straight-on pin-up image that includes the Dark Knight, Metamorpho, Halo, Katana, Black Lightning, and Geo-Force. The sheet is in overall good displayable condition, with no pinholes, tears, or other major wear commonly seen on vintage posters or prints, but please note it does have some discoloration along the left side and lower edges, which could either be light moisture exposure, or possibly tanning from display. It is not that pronounced, so it is hard to tell, but please note that it is there, as well as a light indentation bend crease at the middle left edge. The piece measures approximately 8 1/2" by 11". It is not as thick paper stock as a heavy poster, and is closer to a regular paper print, but with a smooth coated surface. Also, please note that the dot pattern you may see in the picture is on the scan only, because of the scanner, and is not on the actual piece. This is a very cool and rare comic collectible, as they were for promotional use and were not made for resale. Promotional prints like this one were not mass-produced or available to the general public, and were often thrown away, so to find a classic one like this that is more than 30 years old and has not been pinned with tacks or taped is rare indeed. This is an outstanding piece that would look fantastic framed, and would be a great addition to the collection of any Aparo, Batman, or Outsiders fan.
