Description: We got in a delightfully modified Japanese Fender Precision bass from 1987. The bass is finished in a rich Lake Placid Blue. The pickguard has been replaced with an eye-catching crushed copper guard fashioned into a unique design. It's hard for a Fender bass to stand out, and this one does so with class. The original ceramic pickup has been upgraded with an old passive Bartolini pickup. This model is known for its definition and clarity. The body is in very good condition with some small dings along the edges. NOTE! The previous owner fashioned a way to mount the bass on to a heavy duty stand which is what those 4 holes on the back are about. It's a nice option for playing on stage when you want to switch instruments or step away for your dance moves. The bass will ship with the stand and mounting hardware. The neck is in excellent condition with very light wear The setup is excellent with a straight neck and good action. The Japanese Fenders from the '80s are well regarded for their quality and this one is an excellent stage bass that will get you noticed. Includes padded gigbag
