Description: Vehicle Details This a is 1989 M998 Humvee. It started out as a military Humvee and over the last year or so has now has been fully customized into the truck you see. It has a clean road legal Louisiana title with VIN number: 062527 and is state farm insured. Red exterior and black interior with some red accents. Exterior features include custom removable perforated X half doors front and rear, fiberglass hard top roof, Fiberglass bed cover with electric power actuators to open and close it automatically, custom front bumper with swing down brush guard, Front light bar with (2) 32 led lights, (2) rear facing led cube lights and top mounted led third brake light, all factory light bulbs have also been changed to led as well. 22x12 XD wheels with new 37x13.5 tires. Interior features new smitty-built high back seats, Alcantara headliner, Retractable Red 3 point seat belts front with black retractable lap belts rear, Custom cooler/cup holder/grab handle mounted in the center on a red and black sea deck covered center panel along with a small waterproof storage box. Front dash console houses a Fusion marine radio with various switches for power bed cover/amplifier/lights, as well as 2 more cup holders up top, a Ram mount cellphone holder, a small glove box and 12v voltage indicator with USB and cigarette lighter plugs. In addition to the factory 24v electrical system I have also installed a full 12v system to power standard 12 volt accessories. This includes a waterproof 24v to 12v inverter with marine fuse block and main power relay switched from the factory accessory switch. This is all neatly located on a removable panel in the factory battery compartment under the passenger seat. A NOCO dual bank 20a on board marine battery charger is also mounted in the battery compartment as well to charge and maintain the main 24v battery system for extended storage. The sound system consist of a Fusion marine Bluetooth head unit connected to a hard to find 24v chrome 1500w fusion marine amplifier that powers (8) 6.5 fusion marine XS series speakers, (2) DS-16 horn tweeters in a custom bed liner coated overhead enclosure with white and red led lighting, As well as (2) 12 sundown audio subwoofers in a ported bedliner coated enclosure mounted in the bed. Mechanically I have installed new cv axles on all four corners, new rear brakes/parking breaks, new thermostat, and all fluids(diff/portal/motor/trans/brake). It shows just under 33k miles. It starts, runs, steers, stops, shifts, and drives perfectly with no issues at all never overheats even sitting in traffic in 98 deg heat. I was planning on doing a LS swap with an overdrive trans, but it has always rans and drove so good with the factory 6.2L diesel and 3spd automatic I have left it alone. I have honestly never owned a diesel that starts this quick and doesnt smoke or leak. I also have a bunch of extras that will be included(original cv axels in good shape, set of (4) factory 12 bolt run flats with good tires, along with parts I was going to use for the LS swap, Motor mounts, and a new in the box fuel tank.
