Description: 1989 Masi Gran Criterium 16 speed Racing bicycle. Size 54cm.This is a vintage California built Masi. Reasonable gearing with a 39/53 and an eight speed sprocket 12/26. Comfortable to ride cro-moly lugged frame, the way bikes used to be made. The bike is signed by the master, Faliero Masi. Bob Hovey's Masi database shows the the bike's serial number 9052 to be the 52nd bike made in the year 1989, built in the San Marcos, CA shop by Joe Starck and painted by Jim Allen. -- Fully lugged handbuilt cro-moly frame -- Complete Campagnolo Chorus groupo -- 39/53 Chainrings -- 12/26 Sprockets. -- Shimano SPD pedals included-- New 700/25mm puncture resistant tires. These are the largest width tires that fit through the brakes. I can include very good condition Schwalbe Ironman tires 700/22mm as well at no cost.-- The saddle is a Selle Crane saddle in almost new condition. -- There are a few chips to the original paint as shown in the pictures. Never any damage to the frame. The ride is very comfortable as only butted cro-moly tubing can be. This was the bike of my dreams. I can no longer ride it comfortably and so hope this can be the bike of your dreams. -- Local pick-up only in Northern Westchester, NY
