Description: HERE FOR YOU CONSIDERATION IS MY 1992 C4 CORVETTE COUPE TROPHY-WINNING SHOW CAR!!....Call with any questions....Jim: 207-691-2288 This shining example, low-mileage, 6-speed C4 Corvette is predominantly paint code 80 Quazar Blue Metallic (which was only applied to 5% of the cars produced in this year), accented with a custom and very unique (GrandSport-ish) Pearl White center stripe all the way from front to back, along with original GrandSport front side fender emblems and other graphics placed in several key areas, both outside and in. A quick side note regarding the color of this vehicle: Personally, I much prefer the Quazar Blue of my car over the darker Admiral Blue that was applied to the 1996 C4 GrandSports (not to mention my cars' Pearl White stripe over the simple flat Arctic White stripe of the latter car) - but that's just IMO. Either way, this vehicles' high-dollar and truly excellent paintwork maintains a really beautiful depth and gloss! This 'Vette has the VERY desirable ZF 6-speed transmission (with the factory skip-shift feature bypassed). It starts immediately, runs very smooth, quiet, steady and strong and the exhaust note coming from the "tunable" exhaust system is just totally SWEET! Both the exterior and light gray leather/black interior are in simply fantastic condition, with only a slight bit of rub wear noted on the driver's outer bolster area as shown in the photo. The addition of wood-grain mahogany trim throughout and the custom wooden "finger-groove" shifter handle really adds to the whole experience when in the driver's seat, as do the pillar-mounted accessory gauges.This car has the Greenwood ground effects package and it also incorporates a very rarely-seen sturdy fiberglass one-piece deck-mounted spoiler, fiberglass hood scoop and louvers and rear window Cragar vent-style sunshade. Under the clamshell hood you can see the Lingenfelter forced-air injection system - adding some more to the LT1's already-impressive factory 300 horsepower! There are numerous S/S braided hoses, many custom-painted engine components, numerous accessory accents and CHROME galore beneath the beautifully-painted hood underside with awesome applied decals!! It has had a recent cooling system flush and fill, new serpentine belt, fresh full-synthetic oil change, plugs, new battery w/cutoff switch (for winter storage) and tire balancing performed. It is also stored and run Only with Non-Ethanol fuel. The A/C works, as do all other electronic features except the stereo, which makes a popping noise through the speakers when turned-on. This Corvette also has the less frequently-seen factory Ride Control system, but I think it may need to be looked-into a bit, as the system service light is lit with ignition on. Good tire tread on all 4-corners of the custom Italian-designed Antera Triple-Spoke chrome wheels (with a special factory tool/key included for center cap removal) and staggered size Goodyear Eagle GSC tires (same sizes as on the '96 GrandSport). The power ABS brakes (with drilled rotors), steering, windows, climate control system, etc., etc. and all interior and exterior lighting works just as it should. The steering column is also in perfect order as well, with NO wobble - a thing to be aware of in these cars if they have been constantly abused by the wrong egress habits of people getting out from the C4 cockpit. I believe that the headlight motors will likely need a new set of either factory-type plastic (or better yet, Delrin or Brass aftermarket, if you prefer) gears installed in them soon though, as while the lights do open and close perfectly fine now - both very fast and even to each other as well - the motors just recently began running for an extra cycle after the opening and closing procedure finishes, indicating an easy and inexpensive gear change should be considered. There are absolutely NO nuisance electrical drains anywhere on this vehicle, NO fluid leaks and all of the gauges function correctly. The only other thing to mention is that the weatherstripping surrounding the driver's side window should be replaced for the best look, though there has been absolutely no leaking noted during car washes. This car has received numerous trophy's and plaques over the years to match all of the head-turning and double takes it has received along the way - a testament to all of the many exciting upgrades that this vehicle has enjoyed and of all the time and painstaking work that has gone into making it such an outstanding example show-winning Corvette! It has always been stored indoors year-round and cared-for properly....Bottom line: If you are after a uniquely-beautiful take on an already GREAT C4 6-speed LT1 Corvette, then this particular car of mine is surely to be of interest to you. This very SPECIAL CORVETTE is being offered here at a Very Reasonable Price - far less than it would cost to re-create. It certainly is a ONE-OF-A-KIND vehicle, due to its' customizing having been been done both very tastefully and importantly, having been DONE RIGHT - with great forethought and care! Also note that included is a fiberglass adhesive set of GrandSport rear fender flare extensions that can be added onto the existing flares (if desired), which are designed to extend them even further, as well as a full set of smoke gray press-in tail light covers that will come with the car.
