These early run Classics are basically 1960 Pre-Historic Reissues in some ways - the inked on serial, the headstock say "Model" not "Classic" and thin binding at the cutaway - The most desirable era of the Classics. It is in very good condition and has light playwear for a 30+ year old guitar. The top has a few really light clear coat micro scratches and some pick scratches on the pickguard. The back has a few light clear coat scratches as well. She has a Gibson '57 Classic PAF at the neck and a Gibson USA Alnico at the bridge. The pots are original and date to the 37th week of 1992. Frets are in excellent condition with no significant playwear. The front of the headstock has a few small string scratches. Scroll down to see detailed pics She weighs 9.3 lbs. on a digital scale. Freshly set up with 10's, low action and plays superb! Comes with the Gibson case - broken combo lock - as seen in the pictures. This guitar will be safely packed and shipped.
