1993 Fender American Standard Telecaster Electric Guitar, Made in USA

Description: This is a 1993 Fender Telecaster American Standard electric guitar. Made in the USA, this solid body guitar has the classic 3 tone "sunburst" finish, Maple neck, Alder body and Fender custom shop pick-ups. Other features include: Modern “C” Profile / Hand-rolled edges / 22 Frets /Chrome hardware / Stings-Through-Body Bridge / 6 Individual Saddles / 3-way switch / Master Volume / Hardshell case. This guitar has the serial number on its headstock: "N3 932800" It also reads "Fender Telecaster... Made in USA". It comes with a "Guitar Research" hard case (No Key), and a white Ernie Ball strap. All in all this Telecaster has that wonderful playability and tone (that we guitarists crave) and that classic Telecaster "twang" and bite made famous by so many great guitarists over the last 60+ years. CONDITION PLEASE READ: Overall I would say this guitar is in GOOD condition. However, it does have some issues that need to be pointed out:Firstly, the jack input on the inside I believe is a little dusty and perhaps needs to be cleaned, because SOMETIMES when the jack is plugged in, the sound is initially a little distorted and the jack has to be wiggled to get a clean / pure sound. Similarly, the volume and tone dials can be a bit crackly when being turned. They are fine when in position. My guess is they also need to be cleaned /dusted on the inside. Aesthetically this guitar is in good condition but it does show signs of age, wear and use here and there. In particular it has 2 small drill marks (see pics) in the main body. At some point in its life someone obviously attached something (an effects unit?) to the guitar.The chrome metal bits on the bridge and dials show signs of wear / patina. This could be restored with the correct remover and soft wire wool. The cover on the pick-up switch is missing.The strings are old and probably need replacing. Examine all the pictures closely.
