Description: 1995 silver proof Piedfort two pound coin struck by the Royal Mint to commemorate 50 years since the end of the second world War. John Mills' dove of peace on the reverse is a simple image but universally recognised. The obverse is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Raphael Maklouf. Struck in 15.98 grams of .925 Sterling Silver, from a mintage limit of 35,751 coins. The coin is encased in a protective plastic capsule within its original Royal Mint presentation case, together with the Certificate of Authenticity. Please take a careful look at the photos as they form part of the description. I'm selling other coins and will combine postage where possible so please take a look at my other listings!
