The jersey is number 51 but has the last name removed (some pulls and small holes where it was removed). Number 51 was worn by Adam Riggs in 1997, the year this patch was worn. From what I know, Russell outfitted the team around this time, but it’s possible that it was a backup jersey. It’s also possible the patch was applied after the fact. Rawlings did outfit the team not to long before this season. This baseball jersey is a perfect addition to your sports memorabilia collection.
