ERRORS: 1) Bear tush tag is marked 1993 vs Back of box Date of Birth is July 1, 1996 and Date Introduced is February 27, 1997 2) Bear tush tag says OAKBROOK, IL vs Back of box Manufactured McDonalds's address says Oakbrook, IL two different times and Copyright 1999 McDonald's address says Oak Brook (with space), IL. Maple was not sold outside of Canada, he has been extremely hard to find. This white bear has black button eyes and a brown nose, and proudly wears a Canadian flag on his chest. TAG ERRORS and date errors. Tush tag errors - the box states that his birthday is July 1st 1996 but his tag says 1993 and he was made in Oak Brook, Illinois, but his tag reads OakBrook (without the space). Maple was introduced January 1, 1997, but the box indicates that he was introduced February 27, 1997. He was exclusively a Ronald McDonald House Charity bear. He belongs to 1 of 4 of the International Bears of 1996. He is 1 in 4,000 manufactured!! This amazing bear is valued much higher than I am asking. He has never been played with or taken out of his box. There are two small flaps on the back of the box; I opened one strictly to take the photo of the tush tag. Maple himself is MINT condition, This is a Teenie Original Beanie. All four bears have the error date of 1993 on tush tag, birth dates of 1996 and 1997, and intro dates of 1997 and 1998. All have the error location of Oakbrook and Oak Brook.
