Description: 19th Century Imari CHINESE Blue & White Porcelain "Boys at Play" Scalloped 6" Bowl A handmade, antique Imari Chinese porcelain Scalloped blue and white bowl, decorated with a "Boys at Play" design. It has a bird (Phoenix) at the center of the bowl. It depicts children playing among butterflies, flowers and trees on the inside and the outside of the bowl. It sits on a 1/2" raised "foot". There are some symbols impressed into the bottom. It is in very good antique condition; no chips or cracks. There are some very small production firing flaws in the bowl's center.
