Description: Two nice 7-3/4" decorative "talking" plate made H. Boulanger in Choisy le Roi France. They are from the "The Things You Hear" series with a black transferware center and a blue border with a patriotic design. It has the HB&C mark used in the late 1800's. The condition is very good with some age, wear and normal age crazing. One of the plates has a tight hairline crack through the rim.
