Description: This listing is for (1) 2” x 36” Type-M copper pipe and (2) 2” copper tri-clamp ferrules for a DIY column kit. This is heavy wall copper tubing. NOT DWV tubing that doesn’t properly fit the ferrules. The ferrules are slightly oversized for this pipe so a small amount of material will have to be sanded off of the outside of the ferrule and inside of the pipe. This is easily accomplished with a dremel or other rotary tool but can also be done by hand with some 240 grit sand paper pretty quickly. Thjs is new pipe. It has not been used so you don’t have to worry about some unknown contaminants. As with any copper component, once it’s been soldered and finished, make sure that it is properly cleaned before using. As seen in the photo, this is very clean pipe that has not sat outside and oxidized. This will produce a very nice column at an incredible price with a little prep work and soldering. Nobody will beat this price anywhere! If a shorter column is desired it can easily be cut to length and you’ll have copper pipe left over for your next project.
