BIO: The 1973 movie Lost Horizon starred Peter Finch, John Gielgud, Liv Ullmann, George Kennedy, Sally Kellerman, Bobby Van, and Olivia Hussey. It tells the story of a group of travelers whose airplane is hijacked and crash lands in the Himalayas. They are taken to Shangri-La where perfect health is the norm and inhabitants live to a very old age while maintaining a youthful appearance. There are 7 unpunched paper dolls from the movie: Catherine, Richard, Sally, Harry, Maria, Sam and Chang. They come with 4 unpunched pages of colorful clothes (all made from cardstock). The book’s size is 10 x 12 1/2 inches. The front cover has a cellophane window so that you can see the paper doll’s face who is on the next page. The front & back covers have lovely artwork of Shangri-La in the background. 2. DOCTOR DOLITTLE - 1967 This book was published by Whitman. ID #1935 BIO: This book is based on the1967 musical film starring Rex Harrison, who plays the eccentric Dr. Dolittle. He lives with his chimpanzee (Chee-Chee), his dog (Hip) and a talking parrot (Polynesia). He claims that he can talk to the animals. There are various people, animals, and scenery in this book. Also included is a circus train car, a large sailing ship, a 2-headed llama and a large pink snail on the back cover. The book’s size is 8 1/2 x 11 3/4 inches.
