Description: You are purchasing 2 original Kodachrome 64 slides (front & rear view) of NJT Newark City Subway 1946-vintage PCC #2 at the Orange Street station in Newark, NJ on Wednesday afternoon, August 22, 2001. These PCC cars were purchased used from Minneapolis, MN in 1952. This equipment was retired on August 24, 2001 and replaced by brand-new (slower) LRV cars.
