Description: Offering an outstanding lot of 2 pair (4 hinges total) of antique strap hinges that were salvaged from barn doors here in Pennsylvania. They look to all be matching and made at the same time. These are hand wrought, blacksmith made hinges, all likely from the 19th century. From the top down, they measure as follows:Pair 1: 20-1/4 x 1-3/4Pair 2: 18 and 17-1/2 x 1-5/8 The pintle holes vary slightly, but are around 5/8". These are sturdy hinges, and feature beveled edges that taper to a spade tip (also called spear tip) end and have a great rusty patina (with some pitting, as shown). They are still in great usable condition, without any cracks or breaks. The second pair has a slight gap on the back near the pintle(as shown), but it should not affect performance at all. There are plenty of pictures front and back for you to see the exact condition. You are getting just the four hinges, as no pintles are provided. I do currently have a listing in my store for pintles, as well as many other types of strap hinges. If interested, please check it out. Priced to sell...Thanks for looking!
