Description: Up for sale is this vintage pair of Mr Peanut jars with lids in good condition. No cracks or chips but there is some scuffs and scratches on both jars. You can tell they have been around awhile. Not perfect but good enough. Glass is clean inside and out. Ready to use. Has all the Mr Peanut logos on top and bottom. Bottom has Anchor Hocking Glass Co. logo as well. Marked 1979 on bottom. Ribbed design on jar and lid. Lids have the white plastic caps for making a good seal. Tall glass canister for putting all your treats in. Please check out my other Mr Peanut jars too. 1979 Mr Peanut jar measures 3.5" diam.X 9 3/4"H. Weighs about 1.5 lbs each. Pair weighs about 3 lbs.
