2 VTG Nancy Ann Story Book Dolls Porcelain and Plastic 7 & 6 in

Description: PLEASE READ! You are buying as it is! Please ask any questions before bidding. I’m not a dealer, just a doll lover, downsizing in retirement. I have had these two dolls for quite a while along with many others but it’s time to let some of them go. The first one is the smaller one, 6 inches, made of plastic with sleep eyes that work well. She has a mohair wig which is still very nicely styled in a dark, reddish brown. She still has all of her fingers and toes no chips or cracks. She is jointed at the neck shoulders and hips. The doll is in very good condition and all original except for the back of the dress has had some fading. You can see that when you lift her apron and one tiny hole and tear at the back near the hem. Her Clothing is all original including her hat. The apron is purple with white lace, and the dress is navy and white striped with red cording trim. Both are made of taffeta and the white slip and pantaloons a organdy like fabric. All face paint is still there and bright and beautiful, even her shoes don’t have any missing paint. The second doll is made of porcelain. She too has bright and pretty face paint and wears the original wrist tag that reads 198 December Girl. She has a red taffeta dress with a cotton Underskirt & pantaloons. It is trimmed in a cotton lace at the hem and on the bodice. she has all her fingers and toes and there’s no scratches on the shoes. Her original hat is made of white feathers, satin ribbon and felt. She appears to be all original. Her hair is a dark brown, and still in a nice original set.
