Description: Up for grabs is a 2001 Gibson Les Paul Standard. This guitar is not only stunning to look at but a great player as well! It sounds great as you expect a Les Paul should. Everything is original except for the frets and bone nut. The neck is a C shaped 50's style. The pickups are the 490/498 version. I bought this guitar in 2010 and had a fantastic luthier install jumbo frets and a bone nut. The frets have almost no wear on them! I can't say enough about how this guitar plays and sounds! This guitar is in very good condition with a few swirl marks (only seen in close up light) and a few tiny fingernail scratches near the tone knobs (near impossible to photograph). All in all it's a 23 year old guitar that's been very well kept care of. It stays in my studio and has obviously been treated with care before I bought it. Included is the original Gibson hardshell case as pictured. If you are looking to add a beautiful ebony Les Paul Standard to your collection this one could be the ticket!
