Description: Four used tickets for the American Legion World Series of 2005 in Rapid City, SD Champs Enid, OK Post 4 RUnnerup Pasco, WA – Post 34. Bizarre ending to the championship game as the winning run scored on a balk. I was at the game and have never seen anything like it. Crowd went silent as they tried to figure out what just happened. Other teams included Rapid City Post 22, Branford CT, Dothan AL, Brooklawn NJ, Las Vegas NV, Woodbury MN. Sports table top game leaders Strat-O-Matic, APBA and Statis Pro. Cards from 70s, 80s and early 90s. All original issue except as noted. Strat conditions vary by year but most of the 80s and 90s cards were never used and would consider most cards to be in very good shape. That said they are 30-40+ years old and have been stored in boxes in a closet with rubber bands and envelopes. Some of the rubber bands dried out and left marks. There may be some yellowing/browning on some cards. There may be bows/twists from sitting in the same position for all those years. Some football (subs not starters) may have pencil writing (made up Canadian/WFL/expansion teams). APBA team cards are more uniform in condition as they were stored in APBA envelopes and the card stock held up better- no noticeable yellowing/browning. Don't buy these expecting mint condition collectors items. Do buy them if you want to enjoy replaying past seasons with some of the all time greats.
