Mintmarks on these coins appear in the edge lettering, as seen on the coins pictured in the clear tube. These coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, directly from Mint rolls. We use cotton gloves to carefully handle each coin, so you'll never see tarnish on our golden dollars. All business-strike coins (no matter where you buy them) will usually have some contact marks and/or surface spotting. This is because the mint doesn't take special handling precautions with business-strikes like they do with proof coins.
