2024 1000 yen Series F Japanese banknote (Kitasato Shibasaburō) [CIRCULATED]

Description: I'm listing some banknotes from a recent trip to Japan. These are lightly circulated, in good condition. Photos representative of the notes listed. Some handling marks, but no stains, tears, or major folds. I'm not a collector, but I think these would be fine for display. The new notes are really just impressive pieces of art in their own right. It's kind of funny, and very Japanese, how these notes have ridiculous security measures despite counterfeiting not being a particularly big problem. The engraving is fantastic, the watermark extremely clear, the hologram vivid, the gradients mesmerizing, and there's a bunch of other stuff I don't even have words to describe. Note that eBay will likely collect sales tax, even if you're in a jurisdiction where currency exchange isn't taxed. I've complained about this, but I have no control over eBay's tax policies, so there's nothing I can do about it. Sorry.
