Description: Rare medium thin version of this classic and highly sought after Sabian Encore ride. At 2260 grams it has the classic Dejohnette stick definition and feel while having a little more give and crashability than other encore rides. This cymbal is from the late 1990’s original release of this series. It’s in excellent condition and I’m only the 3rd owner. It has been played in with a few stick marks, some tape residue, and a nice greenish patina! There is also a spot on the edge that looks like a dead spot, but I’ve been told that was a factory defect, not a crack or a flea bite. I’ve owned this cymbal for four years and it doesn’t affect the sound nor is it in any way spreading. Given the popularity and collector value of this cymbal it’s priced extremely fair! Get it before someone else does!
