The bindings are tight and square without spine lean and the pages are crisp and clean with very minor crease to a few pages in volume 3 (see picture of bottom page edges). The books have a very mild old book odor and there is no writing (stamps or otherwise) in these books. Overall, this set is a grade collector's set. This set is very elusive in this superior condition, as only a limited number of them were ever published, so now is the time to act.
