Description: ArtDeco 4 Vintage Spanish Movie Handbills Here is a nice lot of four vintage Spanish movie handbills. These have some gorgeous colors especially considering they were meant to be ephemeral and tossed once the event was over. They are: Su Gran Deseo- 3.5" x 5.25" in size. This movie starred the amazing Barbara Stanwyck. The title translates to "All I Desire" and was released in 1953 so this handbill is likely from the same time period. Margaret Sullivan- 3.5" x 5.5" in size. Su Vida Intima is the movie. This movie starred Margaret Sullivan and Charles Boyer. The title translates to "His Intimate Life (aka Back Street) and was released in 1941 so this handbill is likely from the same time period. Rossano Brazzi- 3.5" x 5.25" in size. Dentichlor is the name of the movie that Rossano Brazzi starred in back in the 1940's. Brazzi was an Italian movie star who filmed in a number of countries. This movie was made in Spain. This has an image in the upper right corner that says Cifeso. This particular handbill is the undated version (there are 1943 and 1946 versions too). La Sentencia- 3.25" x 5.25" in size. La Sentencia is the name of the movie that Ann Sheridan starred in 1949. The movie was released as "Nora Prentiss" in the US in 1947. The handbill has a date of April 21, 1949 on it. CONDITION: These are all vintage handbills from the 1940's and 1950's that were printed on fairly inexpensive paper so they show wear. They all have soft corners, yellowing of paper, some foxing on the back, and even bent corners. The Margaret Sullivan handbill is missing the bottom right corner. They are probably more yellow in real life that what you are seeing in the photos because the flash of the camera washed a little bit of it out. There are extras photos in the photo gallery where you can look at the medals under magnification to see how they look. All items come from my personal collections. This is a non-smoking home.
