Inside Waistband Holster designed to fit the Walther PDP 4.5" Full-Size pistol with the Streamlight TLR-1 or TLR-1HL installed on the firearm. This holster will also fit the PDP Compact 3.5", 4", and PDP Full Size 4" both with the TLR-1 or TLR-1HL mounted on the firearm. The holster retention is on the light itself and not the pistol, which means the holster will not work without the light mounted on the firearm.We use the 1913 key for this holster. Each holster is vacuum formed with a precision machined mold designed from a CAD model of the actual firearm with light attached. Each holster is formed, trimmed, and folded in-house. Final fit and function tests are done with the actual pistol and light to ensure the holster fits the gun and has the correct amount of retention. The retention of the holster is easily adjusted so that the fit can be dialed into your personal preference. Some variations in the TLR-1 light body will cause variations in the fit and retention of this holster. We have designed the retention adjustment of the holster around these tolerances so that old and new TLR-1 or TLR-1 HL lights will fit. The clip is designed for 1.5" width belts with an extremely high clamping force that will not slip off the belt once installed correctly. The under hook design on both legs has a built-in progressive strain relief. Care and maintenance: The surface finish of the clip does not need much attention. If any light scratches or wear marks develop, we recommend a quick yet firm buff with WD40, but anything like vegetable oil, mineral oil, or motor oil will work well. Just put a couple drops on your clip and rub it in vigorously using firm pressure with a lint free cloth. This will help keep it looking it's best cosmetically.The Ulticlip, depending on the product you purchase, functionally all work the same. It is an assembly of stamped, heat treated 1075 Spring Steel with a black oxide finish that works extremely well for beltless carry. The lever on the face of the Ulticlip is lifted, which releases pressure on the inside of the clip allowing space for fabric such as nylon, denim, yoga pants, your Dad's fruit-of-the-loom or your gym shorts to slide in. Once in place, the front lever is closed and the Ulticlip pinches the material and holds the holster in position on your waist. It also works really well behind a belt.
