Description: 5 pair (10 magnets total) N50 Rare Earth, Neodymium Traction Magnets. They are for direct replacement of the original traction magnets in the Life-Like brand T-style chassis. Or they can be used in any brand of HO scale chassis that you think they can be made to fit. In the Life-Like T-chassis to install these I take a 1/8 inch drill bit and I drill a hole on the top side of the chassis right above the original magnets, (see pictures #5 and #6) until I hit the original magnet. Then I take a paper clip and use it to push the original magnet out of it's hole. Then I put a drop of super glue in the hole and push in the new magnet. These are quite a bit stronger than the original magnets. Picture #4 is a picture of 2 chassis'. The one on the left is with the original magnets and the one on the right has the new magnets. You can even leave them stick out of the hole slightly so they are closer to the metal track rails. The last picture is of the T-chassis that I have installed the new N50 Traction Magnets in the original chassis holes, but if you look closely you will see I have also installed a pair of the N52 disc shaped Traction Magnets on the very rear corners of the chassis I have for sale in another listing for even more track holding power.
