These will the younger plants, which have been grown off of my older plants and their seeds. These plants will grow among groups in erect clumps that can reach up to 60 cm in height. Their rounded stalks are either single or branched at their base. This perennial plant will flower anywhere from May to October, depending on your location. The spiderwort seeds usually ripen sometime between August and October, with their flowers being generally a bright blue. The color of the flowers can also range in colors from bright blue to light purple, light pink, or in some cases white. The well established plants are able to spread out by the production of rhizomes and also through the spreading of their seed. They strive well in sunny locations, but can also grow in partially sunny areas. Until they are well established, do not plant them in a full sun location, to prevent them from dying due to extreme temperatures. These beautiful plants will return each year to grace your yard, garden, or landscape with a season full of their beautifully colored flowers. Hummingbirds, bees, and other pollinators are attracted to the beautifully colored flowers. Ideal for any landscape or flower garden.... a must-have for any serious gardener.
