Stem plants that propagate by cuttings ship as cuttings without roots. Plants cant arrive looking like they were just pull from an aquarium, some melting, discoloration and smell is normal due to the fact they have been a long time in the mail. The lose of red color on red plants is normal during shipping and should be expected. Buyer is required to take pictures and send them in the first 48 hours after delivery to receive a refund or a replacement for dead on arrival plants.
