Description: This is an antique cut glass compote.Measure: 6-1/2" tall by 5" wide.This is Signed Tuthill on the bottom (authentic mark). This is a well known pattern and other pieces can be found to match. Though I am unaware of a known pattern name for it due to lost records from Tuthill, I know it is described as a "wild rose" design. This pattern has been found on other shapes also signed, for example M. Crofford's book shows this pattern on a Plate. Though all pieces are rare and hard-to-find!Condition: This is over 100 years old but still in great condition having no chips, cracks or fleabites. Minor age scratches on bottom are appropriate for age.
