I’ve held off listing these eggs for several months now until I was sure fertility is where it needs to be. 🐣 🐓 All the roosters in my flock are very mellow and sweet gentlemen that take care of their ladies. They don’t fight each other, and none in my flock are aggressive towards people. They follow me around the yard anytime I’m outside and wait for me to drop treats so they can call their hens over. They free range daily and also spoiled with kitchen scraps. We love their rich brown eggs. To be clear, not every hen will lay a very dark egg. You should realistically expect eggs from medium brown to very dark. In addition to amazing eggs, the fiery oranges and reds that seem to explode from their plumage in the sun are breathtaking. It’s worth noting that the mechanism that colors the eggs weakens during the laying cycle, so expect to get the darkest eggs when they first begin to lay at each cycle.
