Description: group of 73 ads for insurance companies 1903 - 1969 This is a collection of 73 old magazine ads promoting a wide array of insurance companies. 8 of the sheets are from World War II or eariler, but the majority of them date from the 1950s and 1960s. The large group gives a nice overview of the industrys sales approach during the middle of the last century. Most are touting life insurance, but other policies such as home, auto and accident coverage are also promoted. The 73 pages include 60 different advertisements, plus 13 duplicates. All of the ads are full-page ones, measuring approximately 10 x 13.5 inches in size. They are generally in very good to excellent condition.
