Description: Exceptional 6'6" x 10'2" ft clean hand knotted antique in A+ top condition possible for a vintage piece, in very hard to find colors (early 1900s estimate). Very fortunate field tone I best describe as fire / persimmon / coral / rust / orange spectrum. This piece has been professionally cleaned with no stains, tears, holes, animal or smoke. Even original pile. This piece is made of sheep wool and natural vegetable dyes by skilled crafts people with around 200 knots per square inch per foundation layer, very fine with double tied knots. Millions of knots overall. Accents in dark to light blue from indigo grape lilac hyacinth. Natural dyes oxidize over the century giving light and dark shades of each color called 'abrash' by curators, giving lots of tone nuance. See all 18 images and closeups #6486prom6
