Laid in to the book is a letter dated August 18, 1979 from C. E. Frazer Clark, Jr. (the co-publisher of this book) that accompanied the 87 Poems version of the dust jacket when he sent it to me. As I recall, Clarke had previously told me that the book was originally to collect 87 poems, but another poem was later located and added to the collection before publication. Additionally, the book comes housed in a custom-made (with acid-free materials) protective clamshell case, as pictured. We will carefully pack and ship this book in a box to ensure it is not damaged in transit.
