Description: This was a lovely book in its day and I wish that it were in better condition than it is. The cover has overall age and handling wear with a split in the fabric along the back hinge. The front cover is very interesting with a gold impressed tree of doves. On the first fly leaf there is a dedication to a daughter from her mother dated 1896, Chicago. This is a collection of poems and quotes for each day of the year. All the pages are present but some have tears. Each month has one color picture with a tissue paper overlay. One of these pictures is loose from the binding. The tissues in some cases are stuck to the picture but can be carefully peeled away. I am glad to combine shipping on multiple purchases.
