Description: This is a used, made in Sweden, Abu Garcia 6000 Right Hand retrieve bait casting reel with foot number 080400. This was the first of the 6000 series to have a lot number - not a serial number - on the foot which indicates it is the first iteration of the model 6000 with a production date of August 1964. This is an older 4 screw model (all Abu Ambassadeur's switched over to 3 screw models in 1968). Reel is overall in great shape with free spool and drag system fully functional and smooth. Some cosmetic wear from use can be seen on the top of the handle and palming side plate. Very small amount of corrosion under the lower crossbar visible on photo of reel foot #.
