He scoured the internet to find rare DVDs of classic movies when he couldn't find them through his usual sources. My favorite memory is being 7-years-old and asleep when Dad pulled me out of bed to watch the rooftop scene for West Side Story. That was one of his all time favorite movies. While I share my dad's passion for great movies, I don't have the time to watch and re-watch the hundreds of classic movies he collected over the years. He could tell you all the behind-the-scenes movie trivia for every Alfred Hitchcock and James Stewart film out there, but I didn't inherit that trait. I know I need to let go of these movies and let them go to the home of someone who appreciates them as much as he did.
