The handle and bird whistle are ivory (not bright white). It is in as found preowned condition. No dings or dents but there are surface marks, scratches and wear consistent with moderate use and handling. I gave a cursory cleaning but did not try to remove the mark so as not to cause scratching/abrasion to the matte surface. Some soiling to handle. It was found without a whistle so the whistle you see is a brand new, authentic Alessi replacement which cost me $31 alone to procure and was not easy to find! See pics and details in description. Despite the exterior wear, this could be a good solution for your if you wish to have a quality, high-design kettle you can use daily without worrying about damaging it!
