Made to the exact standards as used around 1916-1917 by the Auto Club of Southern California in the Los Angeles area and elsewhere. the sign shown here was posted on probably Alhambra Ave. or Mission Boulevard. it's tough to tell the exact location because this early Auto Club sign style predates the mileages being provided! The original of these, complete with the logo of the Automobile Club of Southern California, would cost many thousands of dollars if it even survives at all. This sign is a faithful remake that has been rescaled from the original 18" on a side, to 12" on a side (about 17" up and down between the points), and weighs about 3 pounds, 12 ounces. please note that I can make a diamond sign for any set of destinations. inquire about custom orders!
