TRUMAN Accompanied with a handwritten label attached to the bottom and a July 14, 1982 letter of authenticity on White House letterhead from Lillian Rogers Parks: “The small leather coin purse was given to me by President Harry S. Truman…It measures 3+3/4 inches on the bottom from heel to toe. It measures 1+1/2 inches on the bottom at its widest point. It is lined inside with red leather. On the bottom is my inventory sticker Truman #50.” ACCOMPANIED WITH A HANDWRITTEN LABEL AND LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY FROM LILLIAN ROGERS PARKS, THE WHITE HOUSE HOUSEMAID AND SEAMSTRESS Parks (1897-1997) was a housemaid and seamstress in the White House from Presidents Herbert Hoover to Dwight D.
