Description: Andrews Sisters (1940s). Autographed Portrait Photo (8" X 10"). Musical.Vintage gelatin silver, single weight, glossy photo. A great image of the Patty, Maxene, and LaVerne. This autographed Andrews Sisters photo came from the collection of Martin and Harold Avedisian. The Avedisians were owners of Avey Art Display and together they were the creators of the widely renowned movie marquis' in Boston's popular theater district in the 40's and 50's. This photo was found among Martin Avedisian's possessions after his death at 91 in 2012. It is believed that Mr. Avedisian had all of the autographed photographs in his possession inscribed to him when the performers would visit the area. To our knowledge, we believe this photograph to be signed by one of the Andrews Sisters and the autograph to be true and authentic. An unrestored photo with an overall very presentable appearance. It may have tears, slight paper loss, minor stains, creases, edge wear, and/or small corner bumps or bends. The photo is inscribed: "To Marty. Sincerely Andrews Sisters."
