Description: The Andros Island Special Selection Size 2 or 4 (12 Flies) I have been tying this pattern specifically for Andros Island Bonefish for at least the last 10+ Years. This pattern was originally started with a small group of friends that would make their yearly pilgrimage to Andros Island. This is the only pattern they take and have had unending success every year they go. This small group of friends has grown over the years and I have tied it for others that have also reported that this one selection of flies have been their top producer. This selection is tied with half using medium bead-chain eyes and the other half with 1/8" brass barbell eyes. Also, this selection comes with four flies each in Shrimp Tan, Pearl and Camel (Lt Brown) wing colors. These is are Must Have pattern if you are going to Andros Island! Never leave home without some! Tied on Premium Chemically Sharpened Gamakatsu Hooks! Same hooks used on all Enrico Puglisi (EP) Flies and SS Flies! I have been tying and fishing the salt for nearly 40 years. Of all the hooks I have used I settled on Gamakatsu in the 1990's. Sharpest hook out of the box I have ever found and have never lost a fish due to a broken hook or straightening, that includes Bonefish, GT, Roosterfish, Marlin, Dorado, Tuna and Tarpon. I utilize only the finest materials including chemically sharpened Gamakatsu SL11-3H hooks. I have over 45 years of fly tying experience and countless hours on the flats.
