Description: It took me a bit of time to identify the blurry blue back stamp on this gorgeous 10 1/4" bowl. Without a doubt it is Nymphenburg! The bowl reminds me of French Sevres with its celeste blue coloration. That blue celeste or heavenly blue glaze was originally created by Meissen of a most expensive combination of elements including copper. This bowl as all the bells and whistles as they say with its reticulated windows, gold trim, and the very delicately painted colorful Dresden type flower decoration. There is a rim chip as photographed. The bowl is so beautiful that that could almost be overlooked. The back stamp is printed and impressed. The mark dates between the years 1895- 1910. There are also some hand painted numbers on the back perhaps representing the artist.
