Description: A gorgeous antique cape from the 1890s! Body of cape is a medium weight wool felt with secondary, shorter lace capelet on top. High lace collar with rows of back glass beads. Bands of lace trim the body of the cape. Lined in silk, single hook and eye closure at throat with large satin bow. No labels. good condition, some minor wear showing to satin bow, some areas of lace have a brown tinge from wear to the wrapping of the cording, showing the brown base underneath. Some areas of bead loss on last row, light wear to edge of collar. 24.5” long, measured from center back neck to hem
