The interior of the case has a "800" stamp. The gold and silver content has been verified using a XRF machine. The box's ladder half latches open for ease of access. Signode was a Steel Strapping Company Chicago Illinois that made wooden crate boxes in the early 1900's and is a company with a lot of heritage. The company is based out of the USA, namely Chicago, New York and San Francisco. The case is in that wooden crate design as the silver wooden style case is detailed in.
