The base is marked with the Block Griswold marks of the 1920s era. I acquired them together from an estate here in Central PA. The base marked 833, The Griswold MFG Co. Tite Top Baster, Cast 8 Iron . Pat'd Mar 18 20. Together, they weigh 8 pounds. The oven sits flat and spims freely WITH NO WOBBLE on my smooth counter top. EXCELLENT CONDITION. Hand scrubbed, seasoned, and baked.
